Fly across the US on JetBlue Mint Cheap! At just $299 or 28,800 Trueblue Points each way, JetBlue is offering one of the best prices I’ve seen for transcon flights on it’s top of the line Mint lie flat product. The fares are available in both directions so you could book Round Trip for $598. I found this on a JFK to SEA route and usually that means there are more east-west coast routes available. Jetblue Mint is arguably the best domestic premium cabin product. (At least it’s the best I’ve ever flown domestically.) You can check out my full Jetblue Mint Review Here.
I had originally wanted to do a little research on the new cash plus points booking option available for all Jetblue flights with the exception of Jetblue Basic Fares, but now I’m booking flights to and from LAX. A quick note on the value proposition offered on cash and points bookings: the value of TrueBlue points when using them for this type of ticket is not a great value since the points are worth around .9 cents a piece. When it comes to Mint, points aren’t a great option in general because they are worth between and 1.1 cents each v. blue Fares where you can get between 1.3-1.7 cents per point. I cover this concept and detail the best ways to book Jetblue Mint in this post.

If you prefer to use Trueblue Points you can go straight to Jetblue’s site and the same dates with the $299 fare should have the lowest Trueblue price as well.
I am seeing availability in both directions every month ending at the end of April.
