Wyndham Status Match to Caesars

Wyndham Rewards extended everyone’s current elite status through the end of 2022 which means the Wyndham status match to Caesars Diamond is extended for another year. BUT this year is even better because you don’t even have to rematch your Wyndham Status- so they basically saved us a step. As we’ve covered over the years, the status expiration dates between the two programs overlap- allowing you to rematch status every year. This is awesome this year because Wyndham status has been much harder to come by since they stopped their generous hotel status match offer. In recent years Wyndham status expired at the end of the year so on January 1st you’d have to login to your Caesars Rewards account and initiate a tier match from Caesars back to Wyndham. Then when Caesars status expires at the end of January, you’d rematch it to your Wyndham level and voila another year of freebies. Caesars Rewards Status expires at the end of January, so February 1, 2022 log back onto this page and complete the tier match upgrade to extend Caesars Diamond.

Caesars Rewards Status Match Changes 2022

UPDATE: March 24, 2022– the Caesars Diamond Match from Wyndham is only available to Wyndham elites who have earned their Wyndham Rewards status through stays OR have Wyndham status from any of the Wyndham Rewards credit cards.

For everything you need to know about Caesars Rewards, I have an exhaustive guide you should check out for any and all questions regarding benefits and partnerships. 2022 Caesars Rewards Guide (Earn & Redeem Tier Credits, Rewards Credits and Benefits).

How to Keep Caesars Diamond Status through 2023

This year all you have to do is complete the status match from Wyndham to Caesars after your Caesars status expires at the end of January (assuming you are still eligible for a match). • Automatic Diamond Status from the Wyndham Rewards Business Earner Credit Card from Barclays.
  • Founderscard Membership also offers automatic Caesars Diamond Status.
  • Earn Caesars Rewards status through spend and gambling.

I laughing because I asked this question on another article and saw this article under “recent updates”. This addresses my question exactly. I’m excited to be able to extend another year with them. Today I also matched my Mlife Platinum to Hyatt Globalist in hopes of turning it around to re-match to Mlife Gold or use CD for Mlife Gold to take advantage of their waived fees and applicable nights for Hyatt Journey promotion.

I really appreciate you commitment to this. I wasn’t a big vegas fan but I was diamond on my first visit and have enjoyed the treatment ever since.

    take care, happy new year.

Hey Logan- this went right into my spam, sorry for the delay and thank you so much for the kind words. I’d love to know what other topics you’d like to see covered in the future.

Have you, or anyone else had the status match actually go through?
As of today, mine has not processed, and both companies told me that the status match has been cancelled. I am hoping that both agents I spoke with just had no clue.
Please advise what you know about this. Thanks!

I was holding off until I could get some updates- thankfully I got my email that my match was successful yesterday! So hang in there 🙂

I was also told this morning that the status match from Wyndham Diamond to Caesars Diamond has been stopped, and that Caesars is no longer matching. Actually, the agent on the phone told me the matching program was stopped last year (but Caesars extended the statuses from 2020 until 1/31/22).. With no real deals and now resort fees, I guess I’m switching to MGM. Gold level now has no resort fees. Bye Caesars. It was a good run, I guess. But I’m not gambling at your casino if I’m not staying there cheaply. Weird move in light of MGM’s change.

Caesars’ social media is saying they just have a “large amount of Tier upgrades” to get through. Plus, many people’s matches have been processed. Unfortunately, I’m in the same boat as you are.

Yeah, I requested a match on Feb 17th. It is March 7th, and it still has not been processed yet. Wonder why it is taking so long and I don’t understand why other reps would lie to you saying that the match is no longer?

    Match Update:
I start 6 weeks ago, from the Wyndham site, then alternating from the Caesars site, resubmitted every 2 weeks.
Concerned my request was going into a black hole, I reached out private message on Twitter – Got a reply today:

‘We are experiencing a high volume of requests for tier matching. We are processing upgrades as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience’

Vegas is my 1st pandemic travel in 2 years, I usually fly LAS – LHR – LAS doing my jet lag in LAS on the return, with a few days at a Caesars property before heading home to WA.

    Great blog thank you.

Caesar’s won’t match to Wyndham if the Wyndam status was obtained via matching…so there goes that. I keep getting the same confirmation message. Last year I was told that if you want to keep diamond status in 2022 you need to earn 1250points by December 31.

I’m curious if you had earned your Wyndham status or not. I applied on 2.12 to rematch my Wyndham to my Caesars. When I went back to submit it again, the website now says it won’t match if you didn’t earn your status. Originally I’d gotten caesars via matching from mlife then used that to match to Wyndham. At least I have my mlife!

I actually have Founderscard but it seems unless you have status via earning, Wyndham Earner Business card or FC- you might not be matched- I’m waiting a few days to get as much info as possible but will update this post as soon as I know.

Do we know for a fact that getting the Wyndham Business cc will get you CE Diamond?

… except that your CE Diamond match will not include the Celebration Dinner benefit.

So basically people can get the $99 Founders card the first year then stay at $10 Flamingo for 24 nights in order to keep their status each year?

Have been Diamond w/ Wyndham for more than 5 years. Got Diamond w/ Caesars last 2 years. Applied for status match on 2/2, got email on 2/17 saying my Diamond was approved, then on 3/14 went on to book more dates and noticed I was Gold again. Next day got this email from Caesars: WE APOLOGIZE We Upgraded You By Mistake!
It looks like we tier matched your status through our partnership with Wyndham Rewards. However, we will be downgrading your account because you must have an earned Tier Status with your loyalty program to be successfully matched.
Called Caesars Rewards on 3/14 they had no clue said I was 3rd customer to complain, on 15th got that email. Still awaiting them to prove to me that I did not get Diamond w/ Wyndham many years ago, but not holding my breath. Good bye Caesars, have Gold w/ MLife so MGM here I come.
